Can you burn it off, or use paint stripper ?

paint stripper i have tried in past.as it is plastic probaably is resistant to acid. if the roary wire brush cannot strip it of it melts to the steel.

Do a Burt Monroe and throw it into a grass fire. :lolsign:
Seriously, I would use a heat gun to soften it then scrape off with a putty knife. You could take to a sandblaster.
