    Hey all,

Been a while since I last posted, bike has been running like a dream since I fixed all the issues last year!

I know the intake tubes on the ZXR250 don't provide air to the engine itself, but do they actually help with cooling down the regulator?
I'm assuming in North Queensland, they probably won't make much of a difference? (Blowing hot air onto the regulator essentially..)

Mine doesn't have the tubes at the moment, just debating if it's going to reduce the life expectancy of the regulator.

    Cheers!
    Dan

Might reduce the life expectancy of your plug/wiring ..... hot air might help blow out the flames :D

Move the regulator to somewhere cooler.

Is it possible , well , if you have room that is to fit a finned heat sink to the regulator ?. There are some pretty well designed heat sink's out there on the web. Just don't forget to use thermal paste.

One of my riding friends has just finished putting a small slim 12volt computer fan beside the rec/reg on his VFR after cooking the original.
