    Hey everyone.

Brought a Suzuki GSF250V GJ77A. It wasnt running when I brought it.

Since then I've got it in pieces and it's turned into a bit of fun making the bastard run again.
Waiting for carb parts for a full rebuild. Installed a fuel filter and as the previous owner had it sitting with no gas in it for a long time I've got to get rid of all the rust inside.
I've had it running with the old parts and a makeshift gas tank so that's a small win but it needs a bit of work yet

Finding any English info on this bike has been an asshole until I signed up here. So thanks for everyone who's put the work in to get info for this model.

:welcome:. Bike looks very neat and doesn't look to have been abused in its past.

The last owner says to me its been abused when he owned it and til it stopped. He was a 17 year old rich kid with a golf gti and a mazda miata. Also said the "chrome was still really good"...

At this point though the last thing I did was mess with the mixture as I read another guy on this forum started from like 3.5 turns and worked down. He was right ran at like 4k revs but I haven't found a way to get lots of attempts to start the bike. Charged the original battery and that gives me 2 starts, a jump pack will give me one more and I've got a car battery that dies just as fast as the bikes battery. Maybe I'll ask in the maintenance forum.

Via the pictures , it looks pretty neat and no damage that i can see. I suppose the rich kid has different views on what he thinks is abuse .
Try the maintenance forum , the guys that know this model will reply.
