Hi All. Recently bought my first bike. A 2008 CBF250. Got her for a bargain $850 and passed the RWC on the second attempt (left her untouched for a week and the battery was dead when the mobile RWC dude turned up ) . Hi, yep, that's a small oil cooler at the front. Think it's standard. Still finding my way round her mechanically. I'm not hugely mechanically minded so it's a bit of a learning curve - but fun! Oil and filter change at the weekend, wish me luck!
Cooler look's really neatly fitted , must be stock as you've mentioned.Did the owner's manual come with the bike , it may be useful for the first time oil change just to make sure that all as it should be inside.One of the forum member's not long ago bought an un-known bike and the oil filter was in backward's. If you become a contributing member here there is a workshop manual that you can download. Great bunch of guy's and gal's here too , no one will give you a hard time and super helpful, as long you don't mention your going to Cafe the bike or chop it up.Sorry to the Cafe crew.
Hey Ben It's a great bike, although other than riding a cb125 whilst learning this is the only bike I've ridden. I'm about 95kg and 6' so possibly a little on the big side but there's plenty of power. Not sure on the fuel economy, haven't been paying attention but it's not too thirsty. Haven't had any real issues so far other than having to replace the brake lever switch that activates the brake light ($10) but that was a piece of cake to replace. I've replaced a couple of things that were broken when I bought it including the back instrument cover ($25 new) but they were mainly cosmetic. Also got a couple of spare keys cut for $20 which was cheap as there's no electronic coding on the ignition. Parts are readily available via various online Honda dealers and they don't seem over expensive, however I've seen a lot of used parts on gumtree and eBay if it's something which is a bit pricey new. There's a blog by one of the other forum members who owns a cbf250 that's a good read, it'll give you a much better feel for the bike than I can. If you search 'blog' on the forum it should come up in one of the first suggested posts. Cheers Eddy

Welcome! Great bike, especially for commuting. The oil radiator is standard, I have a 2007 model and used to have a 2006 model before that. This was my current one late last year (can't find a more recent photo on my phone)
