    Hey all,

just saying hi! Recently got my hands on a basketcase 96 CB250. ‘It’s all there’ was the message & I needed a new project. So here I am.

The bike did come in bits and pieces, but so far I’ve been able to get most of it back on the frame - basically to make sure I’m starting with at least a running engine. And today, after a long day diagnosing some wiring problems, the bike did get back to life again. Sounds a bit rough, but it runs, so the fun can begin.

Located in Perth && the build will likely take a fair bit - but will try to update here.

    Cheers, Yuri

So, as I’m going to build this bike, I will need various bits and pieces. If you read this and have
    1. The bracket that holds the clutch cable in place (engine side)
    2. The bracket that holds the two gas cables in place (on carburettor)
    3. A brake pedal lever
    4. A cool looking ‘scrambler’ style fuel tank
Let me know. I could fab up the brackets myself, and will def try some wreckers, but thought ask here as well.

    cheers,
    Y

Thirdgear are a reputable company ... I have bought a few things from them

The front fixings on that tank are similar to the Suzuki GSX250 ...... they slide onto rubber grommets on the frame

I cant see in your photo if your CB is similar
