Today I adjusted my EXUP valve so it will always remain a little open, even at idle to try help my engine as it is flooding and i need it to make it 50 k's to the mechanics. (i know it sounds serious, most likely a massively high float level amongst other things. bought it like this and i got it really cheap.), my question is..... once i get it up to 10k rpm, when the exup would be fully open, will the valve continue around and slightly close again? or does it lock in place at fully open? and if so, will the exup servo motor get damaged because of trying to open it up more when it is already fully open? thanks in advance. I am sure it can't go right around but it may run out of room and stall. It is a stepper motor driving it and if it can't move it will not damage it as they only pulse the coils to make it move and apply current steady to keep in position. After many years in industry I have never seen a small stepper burn out.
