Well I have just stumbled upon a new make of korean bike called Daelim, specifically the Daelim VJF250, from what I can gather the bike is 250cc and has a full fairing and sells for $5700, does anyone have an opinion of these ? Im keen on the new CBR, but this is pretty well priced http://www.bikepoint.com.au/news/2010/road/daelim/ca110/daelims-new-250cc-roadbike-18978 Johhno
I have been doing a little browsing and found some interesting info on Daelim. In the early 60's daelim ventured into the 2 wheeled market focusing on scooters only and 45 years on control a huge segment of that market, particularly in south east Asia. Then in the mid ninety's the company moved into the motorcycle segment. As with most Korean products the warranties are excellent, craft manship is world class and customer satisfaction very high. Sounds like we will most defiantly be seeing alot more Daelim products on our roads, and time will tell wether they're received as well here as they are in Asia. Watch this space
Cycle Torque magazine has written a reveiw on the Daelim and it was pretty positive, read the review online, or pick up a copy from your local motocycle shop. http://www.cycletorque.com.au/emagDetail.php?id=43
