Well im back in business, risen from the ashes and all that. What started out as a straight forward crank rebuild ended up quite a task. Managed to get hold of the bearins big end and crank but no one in Brisbane to rebuild it. Found a bloke who was local but is now in the N.T. He then told me that the crank bearing weren't the right type. Lots of emailing to Koyo who confirmed they were Honda spec. In the mean time managed to jag a brand spanked from Japan. Anyway it back together and to cap it all off managed to get hold of a set of JHA chambers from ...yes you guessed it Japan. God love em all.
Just started it...5th kick , no leaks, and that god I'vee got understanding neighbours as it sounds rather loud and the Ie i. Japan must have been running Castrol R cause it smell great as well.
Excellent mate. Those JHA chambers are nice. Now for that ride..... Just out of interest, where did you manage to find the new crank? I got mine from Tyga but they no longer supply.
