Does anyone know or have a certain link to a brake line kit for the 3LN. After 3 master cylinder rebuilds on 3 bikes the brakes are still soft. I thought it was just me but I substituted a set off an RGV & it made a big difference so I'm on the hunt for a braided set & thought the brains trust here might have a quick answer. we've got a ride day on the 7th I need them for, bad time of the year, I know ! I'll post a pic of the latest Frankenstien.
I should have added, will FZR400 sets fit ? There are 400 kits on ebay but none for 250’s. 400 part numbers are very close to 250’s so im guessing / hoping they are a good fit. There are cheap sets out there & wondering if theyre good enough at half the price of others.
Try here, look's like they can make them https://www.carmodsaustralia.com.au/brand/hel/ otherwise- https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/600mm-Cu.../201671580903?_trksid=p2349526.m4383.l4275.c1
Maybe try contacting these guys with details on the lines.. they can probably make to suit but maybe not in your timeline. http://au.helperformance.com/?gclid...FLV_nTdrCQ1PLn9kacxyyvKyew_i-N2MaAl2cEALw_wcB
I think HEL & Venhill will make them to order. You can also assemble them yourself with AN-3 brake fittings and line. Just do not use any aluminium fittings. Also you could 1mm larger in your master cylinder piston size for a firmer feel.
There's a lot of local brake shop's now day's that will make them too, i know of at least 2 that are about 15 minute's away from me. http://www.kenma.com.au/brake_hoses.html Bikebiz Granville: 274 Parramatta Rd Granville NSW 2142; Ph, (02) 9682 2999 Bikebiz Parramatta: 7 Great Western Hwy, Parramatta NSW 2150; Ph, (02) 8830 0500 Bikes & Bits Tamworth: 244 Goonoo Goonoo Road, Tamworth NSW 2340; Ph, (02)6762 1557 Castle Hill Motorcycles:D2/2A Victoria Ave, Castle Hill NSW 2154; Ph, (02)9894 8225 Collide-A-Scope: 11/45 Salisbury Road, Asquith NSW 2077; Ph, (02)9482 8335 Close Motorcycles: 15 Regent Street, Redfern NSW 2016; Ph, (02)9319 6811 Eurotune Motorcycles: 144 Uriarra Rd, Queanbeyan NSW 2620; Ph, (02)6297 8636 Garry Jobson Motorcycles: 5 Flinders Road, South Nowra NSW 2541; Ph, (02)4421 5033 Gowanloch Engineering: Unit 10/25 Garema Circuit, Kingsgrove NSW 2208; Ph, (02)9750 4346 Moto Italia: Unit 4 No 16 Pullman Place, Emu Plains NSW 2750; Ph, 0432 441 985 North Coast V-Twins: 1 Gdt Seccombe Close, Coffs Harbour NSW 2450; Ph, (02)6650 4200 Sydney Motorcycle Workshop: 23 Euston Rd, Alexandria NSW 2015; Ph, (02)9565 5788 Whitehouse Motorcycles: 523 Young St, Albury NSW 2640; Ph, (02)6021 7588
If you really need them in a hurry try these. https://www.yellowpages.com.au/nsw/cardiff/pirtek-newcastle-12327709-listing.html http://www.enzednewcastle.com.au/ http://www.custom.com.au/ Otherwise I use these from China (I had one tested to 3,000psi and ok) but they will take a month to get here. Just measure the length of your hoses and order from their website. https://www.ebay.com/itm/M10-Flexib...e=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649
will drop around Saturday with a set off a honda hornet that pirtek made up. not braided but new and will loan to get you out of trouble.away at present.
Hi to all. I had a S/S braided brake line made up via my old home town bike shop. Try ringing around the bike shop's , surely someone must be able to make one for you.
Standard brake and clutch workshops as well as anyone specialising in hydraulics will very likely have the bits and pieces necessary for these For example both the local Enzed and Warringah brake and clutch had the parts and hardware necessary when I enquired with them
