I don't like his colour coding, green and red's both going to red

It remind's me of seeing trailer plug / socket wiring where the person that's done it has just inserted the whole wire and insulation into each terminal,
then done up the screw tight so it push's straight through the insulation and into the wire core

Someone emailed me this picture asking "what is it?". I was polite in my response. Imagine how hot the rider gets sitting directly behind that engine.

It would be good in the middle of Winter though.. lol
I noticed there is the ACMA Antique Bike meet on 24/8/19 at Bulli and I know there is going to be a 4.5 litre Merlin engined bike there.. that will be started up every now and then as well as the 1951 Jack Ehrett Vincent Lightning... might have to go along and take some pics :)

Looks like a Pratt and Whitney R1340 Wasp rigged up with a right angle drive to the chain to rear wheel. Be a turd to ride as opening the throttle would tip it on it's side from the torque reaction of the crank.
The Megola would be an interesting ride with no clutch or brakes on the front wheel.

Maico engine, turned 90 degree's and reverse mounted
The expansion chamber come's up through the top of the frame from the engine and then does a 180 degree turn and run's back out under the seat.
The swingarm geometry is out there
And then there's the run of the chain
And don't forget about that front end...

I wonder if the designer of this bike was involved in the LSD drug trial's in the 50's and 60's ?

Screenshot_20190727-193444.jpeg Oh, and I saw this advertised and was surprised that it looked so ugly. A friend was going to put an nsr150 swingarm in an XR600, he was glad he didn't after seeing this.

    My tattooists Honda Evo 300cc.
Theres a few things i would do to it though, maybe extend the seat and cover so it hides the rear tank mount / bolt, and seat front hook etc.
Loosen the chain, as its a bit tight. And lower and tidy the rear fender.
Sounds alright with the internal baffle straight look pipes.
Probably replace the bars too, they have been cut and modified with some stainless balls welded in the middle section's.

As much as I dont normally like the "Cafe Racer" style of modification.... I actually dont mind this build.

Thought I would add one to this list. I owned this bike a few years ago, only a few ended up in Oz, a SACHs parts bin special, all top quality running gear and bits with a DR650 engine, was a nice bit of kit :) s8.JPG
