Thanks mate but the better half told me she got me the gloves I wanted. She figured it wouldn't hurt having more than 1 pair if I got some as well....
Nothing else really took my fancy when I found the helmet wouldn't fit my big head

My wife got this one for me, said it was the last tank bag there, they must have had a couple of different type's ?
this one has a zip around the middle to expand it to almost double the size.
And you can also unzip the rubber/magnetic base and use the top section as a backpack, there's a couple of shoulder strap's on the bottom of the top section

Yep, mine is the alternative style I hadn't seen before. Also has a backpack mode.

Bought one of the others a few years ago but stopped using it. 6d63021b96e21469650ae45e3a5952b5.jpg

I swapped the big tank bag for the other style today.
I reckon it suit's the FZR more, even though it is a lot smaller and is not expandable.

2 headsets, a warm winter mid garment, couple of bike locks and a ripping rotating composter (yay!).

I was extremely annoyed to find out the XXL leather jacket, biggest one they had (1 off) couldn't fit me and I'm not that huge at 110kg... they must make 'em in china or something. The L didn't fit my dad and he's a medium t-shirt by normal standards, he ended up with an XL! the guy is a stick figure at barely 75 kg. WTF, really?

Tried both pair's of glove's on tonight, i think they will both have to go back for a refund.

I take a medium size glove (Mechanix Wear, Fox, Dririder and Alpinestar glove's), the Aldi glove finger's are too long, and have 10-15mm extra on each finger and the thumb,
I tried the small pair but i couldn't get my hand into them, and i also tried the large glove on and there was the same 10-15mm extra at the end of each finger and thumb ?
It's like the medium and large glove's use the same finger length and just the palm width is a touch wider.
The extra padding for the knuckle's on the soft pair sit's down my finger about 10mm so wont provide any protection there either.

The Carbon glove's, i'm not sure about anyone else but the narrow wrist strap cut's into my wrist even when it's loose.
And the hard plastic palm skid plate push's back into my palm, it feel's uncomfortable when holding the grip's on my bar's, i'm pretty sure it'd dig into the grip's as well.
And again there's extra length in each finger and thumb.

I found the finger length a bit too long for my small hands too.

I don't mind the carbon gloves, although the palm guards did feel a bit odd at first and I agree that the wrist Velcro seems a bit tight.

Happy with the jacket so far, although this year's 2XL leather jacket seems a bit more snug than the XL textile jacket from a few years ago!

2 Helmets......Couldn't find any bluetooth kits here in WA - asked at both stores :(
Had to visit both Aldi's due to no medium full face lids (for my Mrs') at the first store I went to...

I like the socks but they don't last, at least when I wear them at work, might have to buy a whole heap of them
