I will use this thread to post any info about these.
Honda MC22 kits are done, I am just sorting out the shipping costs, even though most will go to Aus, and have to finish some more pics. I will post a link to the page by Monday 6th Aug. Unlike the Chinese versions sold on a Japanese auction site these actually fit correctly.

2800 Thai Baht including shipping to Aus.

I have to add a lot more fitting pages and bits and pieces but it is functional for Aussie customers now.

You must not run OEM style clamps on silicone hoses,
    BadClamp.jpg
    and here is why

and before you run out and buy the first thing you see on eBay, the band width for the smaller hoses and the thermostat outlet on the MC22 restricts you to a narrow size. I used 9.5mm for that reason. You buy them with the hoses and they are very high quality as good as Mikalor or any other brand.

Would you do a hose kit for a Honda VT250F?

Yamaha FZR250 3LN kits. First production version.
A huge thank you to @my67xr without whose help this would never have happened. As you can see the long hose is nothing like the OEM sausage. It is actually moulded to fit. This is the problem with the "I will just send my OEM hoses to China and have them copied" idea, it doesn't work. Will be available for sale very soon.

Here is a pic of OEM hoses. You cannot duplicate that in reinforced silicone and force it to fit.

    Hose kits for Fizzers done.
    https://litetek.co/Coolant_Kit_Yamaha_FZR250.html
Pity the Aussie dollar is so weak against the Baht at the moment.
2200 THB delivered to you by DHL Parcel Direct with full tracking. Costs more for people in other countries.
    SHK-002.jpg
Next is full silicone coolant o-ring kit for the fizzers and get back to ZXR250 hose kits.

Sorry, no plans at the moment. Once I have the ZXR250 kits finished I will contemplate what's next for hose kits.
Just for a bit of history. I initially bought a hose kit for my MC22 off a Japanese web site. It was complete garbage, definitely not made in Japan, and so the only way I was going to get a good one was to have a batch of them done. One thing led to another and here we are.

Just an update on the price of the FZR kits. We got a better price on the shipping so now 1750 Thai Baht shipped to Aus.

Sorry, on hold at the moment. I was hoping to move a lot more of the Yamaha kits and since that hasn't happened I am in no hurry to spend a lot more on the Kawasaki. Also the issues that need to be overcome include
    • no bead on the front water inlet
    • an extremely tight radius as it exits the block and avoids the air cleaner box
    • the issue of the bleed point

Also this is always the worst quarter of the year for our business so we are going to wait until January before any more major outlays.

One poster on the forum offered to get some made in China and asked forum members if they would be interested. As a private individual, no skin off their nose when the hose slips off the block and dumps coolant all over the rear tyre. For us though, killing our customers is not an option.
    Cheers
    Blair

Sorry @KiwiMat , no plans to do that at the moment. I am quite sure that nothing from the MC22 is the same.

We have been getting a few emails about doing MC22 hose kits all in black. I will post on our X account if this happens and also here.
