Having a look at the map for a meet up and beer with the South Aus and Victorian members. Narrandra in Southern NSW looks to be close to a central meeting point. This gives Victorians approx 475Km from Melbourne, 620Km from Sydney, 750Km from Tamworth and sorry SA you've got the longest ride at 820Km.
I am thinking that we could do this as a full week ride as I would need to stop overnight to ride that far (age and arthritis are a bitch) so maybe meeting up on the Wednesday. If we do this around end of April to early May 2017 the weather should be reasonably kind to us. I realize that this is a fairly big commitment for some (me included) and that you may need to take holiday leave, but what do you think? Any other suggestions?

Bit far for me atm sorry, plus i'm limited to 100km/h on my LAM's bike
Think i would need to have my seat recushioned too.
I would consider an SA/Vic meet up though, about half way is Mt Gambier SA
Melbourne to Mt Gambier is 423km's, Adelaide to Mt Gambier is 433km's
( sorry to the NSW crew, Tamworth to Mt Gambier is 1433km's )

I'm in whatever the group decides to do, but I guess most would find it hard to do a week long trip. I think Narrandera is a good spot for VIC and NSW members to meet. You've also got Wagga Wagga, Tumut & Canberra not too far away. Someone suggested the VIC/SA folks have there our trip which might work if Stu (@joker) wants to get involved.

Otherwise, it looks like Murdo, Linkin, Risky and myself are all starters for the Narrandera trip...we just need to confirm when exactly.

Good call... let me know what's going on because I can imagine a few club members would be keen for a trip. Starting to build a good base of 250 riders down here.

The week long idea was because of the long distances needed for most to get to a reasonably central spot. If your keen to do it on a weekend I would be happy to leave mid week to get to Narrandra for a weekend get together.
If the Vic and SA want to meet at Mt Gambier, then go for it. Us Northerners have a meet with the Queenslanders twice a year and I think it would be good to meet up with the southerners at least once a year.
Still open for any further suggestions.

I'm with you Murdo. Happy to do over a weekend and those of us who can spare more time can get there earlier and/or leave later. The Tamworth crew are closer to QLD than to VIC so going any further South than Griffiith or Narrandera does make for a very long time in the saddle. I don't think it's fare for Murdo to organise us VIC/SA folks so Stu (@joker) maybe one of your club250 rides can be to Mt Gambier or similar and post the dates on here for any VIC/SA 2fiftycc forum members who want to join in? Just a suggestion Stu, so no pressure mate.

@GreyImport any thoughts about the next QLD/NSW ride?
