If the warp is that big that the o ring will not seal, you may have to sand it flat and make a paper gasket and ditch the o ring.

Get yourself a new tensioner and you should be sweet. Gpx250 is the same

You can order them genuine through your local Kawasaki dealer, just ask for the gpx250 cam chain tensioner kit. I also think the zzr250 is the same as well

I was at the Kawasaki dealers this morning, whilst there asked about the cam chain tensioner for you, I did not have your model on me but here's what they gave me. Later models of the GPX 250 in a complete kit are $70.00 however the earlier models are sold in pieces depending what your after, so getting a price was impossible. At least it gives you an idea of what your up for.

Much appreciated. Thats roughly what I was expecting. Unfortunately there is only one bike shop in town so parts tend to be a bit more expensive. I'll cross refrence part numbers and hopefully ill be able to get a full kit.

its 70 bucks and comes with everything you need, just need to bolt it on your bike and let out the screw on the front.
