no music on mine, I havnt used my gopro in ages so I hooked it up on the Cibby and went for a quick fang, and I adhered to the speed limit too
Got a video of a daily ride from a few days ago processed and uploading to YouTube now - will link when it's done. 23 minutes of 1080p makes for looong upload times! Will have to edit more...
It IS an MP4! Although I've tweaked my settings for GoPro Studio, it's ridiculously cumbersome for what I want to do with my videos. I'm investigating alternative editing software at present.
loving the casual product placements in the video mate mate there is a **** tonne out there but you will have to pay for full versions.. should be able to get trail versions for you to have a play with, I just use go pro studio because it was free and you can download templates which already has editing applied you just need to put the parts of the video you want in there... it is a lot easier to be shown instead of fumbling your way though it like i had to... but now i have picked up on what does what it is a lot easier... I get the feeling the program wise designed to run on a Mac.. I only say that because on my laptop it cuts off certain scroll bars and options.. so i had to hide the "start bar" to see the full window..
Need to move camera Fred, all we get is obstructed vision through windscreen, not the best for a video. Or perhaps clear screen.
What are you talking about? Plenty to see around the sides Yeah, I pre-empted this response in the description on the YouTube page. Clear screen is already on its way over via a slow boat from China!
This one was mostly a test of my ability to work the tech. While I'm great at watching YT videos I'm still pretty new to uploading Video editing software has changed a lot since I last played with it. While I love my tech, I'm old-school when it comes to video and photography - I used to help mum develop black & white 35 mm film and and print photos in a community photo lab, and did stop-motion animation and a short film in secondary college on 16 mm film with manual cutting and splicing required!
Yep, but you can chnage the output target device, I aim for andriod medium size and the video is 1/10th of the size of what comes off the GoPro, uploads in minutes not hours @Tim_ product placements ... winning
My output target device was YouTube video. I'll give other settings a go and see what happens On the product placement side, I have links to my blog and the forums in the descriptions of my videos in case anyone stumbles across them randomly
Okay lads i get the point... promote, promote, promote...hahahahaha i never thought about changing the output target... then again the longest video i would make is make 5 mins.. that takes about 45 mins for "youtube" selection in the studio.... I have to do some maintenance on Hildegard so i wont be riding for a bit... that rear brake is driving me up the wall lol... and im slowly getting parts together for the front end swap, the exhaust wraps of the the entire headers and bigger radiator mod...
A couple of videos on rainy days with the new clear windscreen. Just after fitting it last month (this one's a little on the long side): Yesterday evening's adventure in puddle crossing (I added royalty-free music and slo-mo):
GoPro Studio. They finally released an update just before Christmas that has fixed the CPU flogging I had experienced previously on Windows 8.1. This has also reduced the processing time dramatically! :thumb-ups:
