So I have been trying to bleed the pre-mix 2 stroke oil pump but im not having much luck... As per the nsr-world instructions, I am running the bike on 30:1 premix, I have removed the bleed screw (which dumps oil everywhere), and hold the pulley that runs to the throttle at full open. I've done this for maybe 10 minutes and im still seeing bubbles... anyone have any ideas?
If only the tiny little bubbles would not be worried. Holding the cable fully on and running at 2-3000rpm should clear the lines (and the mozzies out of your shed) pretty quick. Do your lines need clamps? could be getting small amounts of air in there.
Thanks Murdo. I have tried to get clamps for those hose that will replace this clear stuff when I put it all back together, but no one seems to make them for hose that small (3mm). 3mm is a tight fit though so I am pretty sure that's not it. You weren't wrong about clearing the mozzies out either...
Locking wire , my old man used to say that all boeing's were held together with locking wire and masking tape.
That was because they didn't trust Nyloc nuts, so every bolt was split pinned or lock wired. Made for a painful day at work, many bandaids used.
the most fun of the dry clutch is at a stoplight : put the duc in neutral and release the clutch, everybody thinks your engine is falling apart, woehaha
