Shove your shrimps ... they will kill me ..... As will making more parking space ... fuking hard yards
A little progress finally ... had a bunch of lads come and lift the cream shed to its new spot Now I can move forward with the courtyard and and main garage ... well, after the silly season maybe
Just bought a house and moved everything into the new shed. Should be plenty of space for new projects now.
I think Boeing has the largest shed in the world, they build the Jumbo in it; the floor space is measured in acres. And they still have to drag the plan across the road to another shed to paint it! @maelstrom is right, it doesn't matter how big your shed is, it'll never be big enough.
Built my shed out of used 18mm marine ply that was used as a fence around a building site along with all the support timbers, roof supports came from a house refurbishment that was having a roof conversion and the double glazed windows and door from a house that was having new ones fitted, Only had to buy 5 new sheets of ply and some new support timbers and fixings, Its a proper bike shed with a small bar area with beer on tap. Its been up for about 6 years now. No build plans but there were beer plans as we went along. Built in three sections over a 1 year period
What was the additional info requested in November? I cant believe it took almost 2 months to assess a flipping Garage / Carport. Heaven help anyone wanting to build a house up there, let alone the other couple of months sitting in a filing tray.
Yea they are so slow My plans (drawings) wernt up to scratch so I had to redo them .... but lounge time over christmas watching cricket and doing FA delayed that somewat .... but still took them ages Ive had plenty of private (and free) consultation from 2 companies as I wasnt paying thousands for a few plans etc and have done it all myself and put the boot in all the way ..... and I told Mr Assessor I want an approved DA so I can walk into any garage company and say "this is what I want so quote me" You gotta fight for your rights
Send in the 2fiftycc Mafia... kick some bureaucratic butt...hmm although it would probably be the Old and decrepit Mafia based on the average age... lol And thank you @GreyImport for instantly putting that song in my head
April fools day but its a winner Now the fun part ... having to deal with shed companies , plumbers , concreters , builders , surveyors, engineers , electricians and wateva other twits I need along the way as I plough thru 101 pages of "conditions and requirements"
