A van put the reverse while i'm back in a crossroad and... He wanted to park here, on the crossroad, and i was behind him having to turn right
I hope you got his details, that's a no fault claim for you. If he has insurance you can chase it with them. Easy way for a free body kit and repairs
Obviously he was very sorry and he admitted his distraction...he has insurance (in italy is required) ... now it depends how much the insurance pay...
That suck's big time. You need to get a decent loud horn for it, find a used 335Hz low tone horn off a Mercedes, or a Bosch 300Hz horn off something similar That way the other driver will need a change of underwear if you have to use it https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/BOSCH-B...552738&hash=item284df4b7e6:g:8tIAAOSwZVpccsWm
I push the horn for 10 seconds... in italy people are very distracted by using phone on driving... it's getting more dangerous driving on the streets... i'm also against in using phone-earphones, because if you concentrated in a (job) conversation you're too distracetd in driving...the man in the van wears earphone... maybe he wasn't using them...who knows...
It's a $534 AU fine and 3 point's to your licence (can have a maximum of 12 point's) if you get caught using a mobile while driving here in South Australia. Personally i think it should be a higher fine, i still see so many people using their phone's while driving. Australia is now getting camera's that can detect a driver on their phone, as well as adding them into fixed and mobile speed camera's and they're installing them everywhere They say an estimated 2 in 3 driver's are tempted to use their phones while driving https://theconversation.com/caught-...obile-using-motorists-but-at-what-cost-125638
Thanks... I'm considering buying this: https://it.aliexpress.com/item/3297...chweb0_0,searchweb201602_8,searchweb201603_55 I know this fairings are bad quality (and bad pairings) but i maybe it's not too bad for the mudguard... and have some spare parts...
At least it's ABS, make sure it is injection moulded, not glued on lugs or anything. And NEVER GET PVC FAIRINGS!!!! I can't stress enough, you are not saving $100, you're just wasting $500.
Yesterday at work I was tasked with getting a scooter running. It had been sitting for 10 years. It's an LML 125 2 stroke with four speed gearbox. Unlike anything I've ever ridden, felt like being a learner again due to the controls being different. Got it running with some fresh fuel, battery and spark plug, then a wash.
Finally got to work on bikes! As in my own bikes. Had dad picking a bike up for me, too. I put the TTR250 on the ramp. It's not pretty, but I need to get a spark. Backburner. I was planning to get the VTR 250 sorted first. It's been sitting a while, so carbies off, pretty clean inside, back together and tried starting. I put a little fuel down its throat to help it, not so good, the bike caught fire (like a BBQ flash fire, just blew it out) and flooded it. Plugs out, iridium plugs, blackened and wet. Found a couple of old plugs and fired her up! No, the bike ran, not set it on fire, again. Now for all those minor things, like chain and sprockets, make the brakes, see if the clutch and gearbox work, check fluids... Aftermarket exhaust sounds means. Doesn't look that good in the flesh.
