    something I ordered to fix/ work around the stripped thread on the magneto flywheel I'm trying to remove from Rosie, my KLR650.

    I figure if I can't get the flywheel puller in, this might be an easier method than using an angle grinder! 8cb99e89872fe3fac59c62b159351d25.jpg 1f0987bc619a74b215e47d14a741cb0c.jpg 1b43a78d1ad13989da4c2013152939ec.jpg 85f6b85759e8bb3209fc844dfb62e0e6.jpg 251f7a97c1ed131238f020f3f8c01cf3.jpg

    I actually got a few goodies in the mail today.. my seal / bearing driver set, a very nice 2nd hand Cam Tensioner, some expandable cable mesh cover (I thought I had ordered the split stuff) and last item is the Priming glue so I can look at wrapping the Instrument mount properly now :)

    So the first set of drivers came today....

    drivers (Medium).png

    Also I chased up the boofheads at the tyre joint and delivery was supposedly Wednesday
    So when did they come ... today .... and where was I? ... not at home
    Why wasnt I home ... because I was out buying beer and chasing up a new air con unit cuz it packed it in yesterday ..... awesome
    2 months wait for a new unit and my tyres are at the post office ... and I have to fight off the country music twat brigade to get them

    Lifes a peach :mad::mad::mad:

    I love the label on the little bottle. Net: 32fl.oz (1 qt) 10ml.
    I guess something got lost in the translation. Possibly not a 3M product.

    So.. my box of items arrived from Zenmarket today.. they certainly like to make sure things are not damaged in transit is all I can say lol.
    Handle bars are just what I needed.. and it looks like the exhaust pipes will do the job.. I just need to linish the OD of the large sealing section down a touch as they are the exact size as the opening in the head right now at 40mm. it would be a tight fit and I need to allow for expansion of the alloy and the SS. Once I can get my Original exhaust back I can compare the bends and length etc to see how much modification is needed.. hopefully not too much :)
    The good news is the mounting plates for the exhaust are the correct hole centres and are also SS :)

    Got a new x-ring chain for the Honda today. Needed it to line up some bits I am working on. Hope it isn't complete junk. 1300 THB or $57 in Aussie. It is a con-link jobbie but I always use some silastic on the clip and never had one come off.

    Silastic? You could go sikabond, it'll never come off, no matter how hard you try! :-D

    Surprising that you use a hack trick like that. I thought you might be like piston circuits, use them once, replace them after you remove them.

    Fitting new ones when you remove the con-link is a good idea but the silastic is just like using Loctite on a screw.

    Are you starting up a service centre in that new shed... when it eventually gets built.
