Except for those people who have been brainwashed into spending half the price of a house on one and are now too embarrassed to admit they made a mistake. :lolsign:

At least a Ducati will go around corners and they sound so much better than a 'potato potato' American tractor.

Ducati's are expensive, and problematic, and expensive to repair, and expensive..

Apart from expensive and V-twins, there's not much in common between HD and Dukes. Oh, fanaticism, too.

There was a video of someone starting their Ducati, and as it idles they pan the camera around to see his mate shuffling a tray of bolts - the bike isn't even running. Hilarious. But would have a Duke over an it-was-good-enough-for-my-grandpappy-it-is-good-enough-for-you HD any day.

I fear those "come to Jesus handles" not because of coming to Jesus, but because if I don't make it that far, there's a lot of pain!

I know we like to give Ducati owners a hard time , but next time you see a modern duc, look closely at the lines , they are probably the most sexy bike in the market

I don't mind the banter, I was the first among my friends to have a duc so i'm used to it, and they were right, they had to push start me several times and give me a lift home because the bloody thing has "character" a bad one that is, but as they say owning a duc makes you a decent mecanic :)

Good for you Jo. If you'd said "I've got 4 Harley Davidson's", Then a few of us would have flagged your profile to 'Ignore'.

I had an early Duc and it was a Jekyll & Hyde bike. Most of the problems involved starting and riding in traffic. Once it got going and you pointed it at some open road, well...a Duc owner knows what I'm saying. As @kiffsta said, the modern Duc is a work of art and a wonderful piece of machinery (my opinion too).
