I thought about doing a "cafe racer" (latte racer) out of a TS, but I wanted to make it look like a racer, not like you lost half the parts to your bike and made a beige flat-seat to try and pass it off as a "cafe racer." There was a well done TS185 for sale at one point. I tried to see if I could find a picture of it by google image search of "TS185 cafe racer" and I could fill this thread with results. Some halfhearted, some misguided, some not TS, some not even cafe racer style. I thought this deserved a mention for out-of-the-box thinking, not that it's any good, just contrasting. images.jpeg

Now the Vincent Black Lightning in this video is probably the epitome of a Classic Race bike for the road.

Which makes one wonder why the Aussie company doesn't put the Vincent back into production as a retro bike, even if it means doing it offshore. To hell with the Nortons and Triumphs. Nothing comes near a Vincent.

That thing makes the best noise I've ever heard.

There was a sidecar running that engine a couple of years back at Broadford. They seem to agree with @maelstrom (see arrow).

Do I assume it's an SR/SRX250? Or it was.

I thought this was a nice photo, so I posted it. It's Gavin Spann's Top Fuel Motorcycle at today's East Coast Thunder Drag meet at WSID (Sydney).

500 pounds and no bids, wonder why?
Be better off selling individual bits or just setting fire to it.

The eBay listing says "may not post to Australia"...that's a good thing, right?
