and an ultrasonic cleaner turned up as well as a new airbrush. You have to love carbs, right? I know Mr @GreyImport does. I am going to offer an over the top reconditioning service which will be everything including throttle shaft seals, plating, painting etc.

Hopefully one of my last purchases of 2nd hand parts from Japan.

    Reasonable set of indicators.

A much better air cleaner / battery box than my original. A little sanding and some satin black paint and it will look new.

What was the damage on the levers? I assume the Master Cylinder is the larger one for Dual Disc front end.. I forget which size it is now..

Could be an issue.. Should be 17mm bore for Dual Disc setup. 14mm suits the single disc 2 piston caliper.
See how it feels when you get it all together I guess.. as you say.. it is more for slowing you down rather than stopping super quick at the Drag Strip.

Interesting... that is the "old" imperial 5/8" but I couldnt find any listings for that size Master Cylinder bore on Fleabay..mostly 14mm and 17mm.
Still they do look nice :)

    :lolsign:

That would be a classic stunt ... turn up to the strip with a parachute attached to the rear and a big wheelie bar ... on a 250 :crazypilot:

Thats interesting with testing the Chinese hose ... :thumb_ups:

M10 is the standard banjo bolt size ... yea?

Just going by what it looks like because they don't tell you what you are buying, but that hose looks like AN4 which is okay for hydraulic clutches but brake lines are always AN3.

The Honda VFR400 which uses twin 4-piston calipers runs a 14mm master cylinder.

All the hoses I've bought were 10mm fittings on 3mm line.
The other FZR I did a bit of work on used the 10mm ones.

The wheelie Bar isn’t so stupid if you get the rear tyre and gearing right but a chute might be a bit of overkill

Yea I reckon the front would lift on them just in normal mode with a bit of encouragement and I intend to run the smallest sprocket on the front and biggest possible on the back
