    Smells. :lolsign:
Adding oil to the fuel also lowers the octane rating.

yeah one of the reasons I remove the airbox and run pods ;)
1 table spoon of castor oil in 10 liters of fuel is negligible at best

Add a bit of methanol as well. That will boost the octane up a touch
    And make your eyes water

Our Team Captain reports there is slim pickings for today's (Saturday) test and tune session. At least he and @Linkin will get plenty of runs in to get their bikes right for tomorrow's qualifying and racing. A stiff headwind was present this morning, so we await testing times with anticipation.

    Just in...

Testing so far has both Team 2fiftycc riders running into the 9's with @Murdo on a best of 9.75@113kph and @Linkin running very strongly with a best of 9.33@118kph. Linkin's 9.33 is now the unofficial fastest 2fiftycc 1/8 mile run. Stay tuned for more updates as they come to hand.

Got 6 runs in, best 3 were

    Reaction 60ft trap speed time

    0.284 2.176 118.59 9.195
    0.028 2.126 117.78 9.215
    0.255 2.064 115.44 9.380

I had issues popping back into neutral on the last run, but still got my best 60ft time as I held 16k and dumped the clutch.

Had headlights unplugged for extra juice, now back in and not working on low beam. Fuse ok, one globe broken filament the other looks like it got hot.

Need 2 new globes do night riding.

Back to gunnedah tomorrow for the showdown.

Well done Linkin. That's spectacular. 9.19 is the fastest 2fiftycc ET by a heap. You're on your way to running an 8 something.

I know that's technically what it would extend to, but Murdo's son ran a 8.9 on his CR230 a couple of meetings ago and my guess is it would struggle to run a 13 on the 1/4 mile. Still, it will be interesting to see how fast Linkin can go. His greyhound physique and well tuned/configured bike are perfect for quick times. I'd like to stick him on my drag bike to see just how quick it can go. I need to get off the standard TCI and coils and go to aftermarket and COP like Linkin is running.

Pissed I'm not there to see Linkin run.

Yes, I was going to ask about the TCI.

Thanks Linkin... We can do a bike swap somewhere on the Texas ride. I'm taking my ZXR250A, so will be interested in your thoughts on it too. Good luck today.

    8.84@125kph

Just in from Gunnedah, Linkin has just run an 8.84 on the 1/8 mile. Some of you may not appreciate how significant this pass is and how difficult it is to run this hard. Congrats Linkin. A round of applause from all here.

Oh, by the way, team 2fiftycc captain (murdo) also ran a PB of 9.45@116kph. Congrats to both of you. Looking forward to seeing how the day plays out.

Qualifying update: Murdo has improved to 9.43@114kph and Linkin has run another high 8.
