    Yep too hot here,
i keep going out the back and looking at my bike's then start sweating so turn around and come back in

I picked up another cheap 7x4 bike trailer the other day that need's some cutting and welding done
(just incase my neighbour is missing the noise etc ;))
I have made another h/duty chassis already, but it's too hot to do any more atm

Oh, I forgot to add, the zxr has a blown reg/rec. I noticed some heat, so I disconnected it (knowing they can be an issue) and noticed it had a burnt wire. It bogs down the bike when you reconnect it, too. I'm hoping they're universal, I might steal one from another bike, like a hyosung.

If you have a 7" sander polisher get some Norton 36 grit disc's from Bunning's or a car paint shop
Then turn your welders' amp's up, or slow down your wire feed

Here's the rest of the YZ250, after photos, @kiffsta has the before photos. Not a good camera, sorry. IMG_20180129_152805.jpg
It looks like silver paint, so shiny.

Started pulling the zxr250 down to do valve clearances and such. Maybe easier with my hydraulic lift:
    IMG_20180131_172638.jpg
Got the table lift trolley for $100, best money I spent, far cheaper than trying to build something. I might be able to use it for my other workbenches, too.

At work again today fixing things on my ZXR again. Charge rate was down so cleaned, sanded and insulated the batt terminals. Back to normal, but need to relocate reg/rec and shorten all the leads.

Had the panels off to find an oil weep, it was the rubber block with the stator leads from the cover. Cleaned up and applied some silicone to stop the weep. Top spark plug seals will need doing at next service as they are also slightly weeping, the ninja 300 coils are doing OK at holding the oil in.

The Dunlop alpha 14's I ordered hadn't arrived so will have to do them during the week.

Last thing to do will be removing the Ventura rack as the track doesn't allow them, but I have junk to cart with me to the track so it will have to come off there.

Megazip care package should arrive this week as well.

I sold a bike last night and he unsold it this morning - wasn't happy with it and wanted a refund, fortunately I hadn't spent all the money yet.

So I decided to put the zx2r back together after checking valve clearances (OK) and timing chain (not OK, seems too worn and the tensioner is questionable - might make a manual tensioner). But the cam cover was grotty, so I cleaned it a bit:
    IMG_20180203_154034.jpg
Now the rest of the bike looks grotty. Put the carbs and air box and left it. Need to sell a bike, so red Across is in line for carby cleaning...

I just wanted it gone so I was prepared to lose some money but in the end I might just break even... maybe.
