    Yeah thought about it, looks like one of Ronnie Hurdist (not sure of the spelling) jobbies. Its definitely a HRD sidecar and the links look like his as does the car wheel mod...... Might be a collector piece of Aussie engineering :)

    Id almost put money on its a early HRD ;)

    That said I have no idea who ended up with the molds.. he also took on the djp manufacturing in the late 80's. think now they are in Melbourne(the djp molds)
    Thought I had a few photo's here of his work but could only find one very bad photo of his wheelchair outfit he custom made for a customer...

    It looks a lovely bike... one of my Dream Bikes and 1955 was a very good year :)

    Just a pity I cant afford to buy it right now...
